Width 12.5 mm; 7 whorls; upper surface irregularly and strongly wrinkled, glossy.

 

 

Umbilicus 1/12 or less the width of the shell; base more glossy than upper surface, wrinkles very weak or absent, with fine longitudinal striae; internal callous lining behind lip shows through base as a broad pale mark (usually more distinct than in this illustration).

Spire convexly-conic; with broad internal callous on base behind lip.

Lip very thin, often torn or dammaged.

Type locality: Missouri.

Height of spire variable.
