Notes - Photos of specimen from Illinois, Jefferson Co., 3 mi S of Mt. Vernon, under redbud with vinca groundcover plantings next to building at roadside rest area along hwy 64; very abundant at this locality; originally discovered by Frieda Schilling. The site where these specimens were found is well shaded and within 100 ft. of natural forest. The forest has not been checked to determine if the species is more generally distributed in the area vs. occuring just in the disturbed area near the building.

Also found in Missouri at St. Louis City, SE Corner of Missouri Botanical Gardens, at base of wall outside gardens, 1 dead specimen.
